The Meaning Behind Aloito

The name Aloito Safaris comes from the Maasai language and translates to “I am going on an African safari.” It is more than just a phrase—it is an expression of excitement, adventure, and discovery.

It is my pleasure on behalf of the Aloito Safaris team to welcome you to Tanzania East Africa.

Aloito safaris was founded by Mr Isaya Kilimbey Mollel , a guide with over 12 years of experience in leading expeditions across East Africa under his belt. Isaya also has the natural advantage of being born and raised on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater in maasai community in the wilds of northern Tanzania where is home of Flora and Fauna. An up bringing which nurtured his passion for nature.

Isaya lifetime engagement with the natural world informs his extensive deeply knowledge of Animals, culture and traditions of his Country with combination of his personality, gentle nature and acute mind, driven as its to excellence, you find yourself in the Aloito safaris the Company of one of the finest Tanzanian Guides one could possibly hope to venture with.

Our team is made up of experienced local professionals who are committed to offering personalized journeys that reflect the true spirit of Tanzania.
